Jan Tomlinson was Born In Beverley and is now based in Wawne, a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

​

Jan gained a Fine Art Degree in Hull and paints in a variety of  mediums including watercolour, oil, acrylic and encaustic.

Most of her work is completed in her Garden Studio.

 

Jan is a teacher who specialises in Medical Needs Education and owns Kip McGrath Hull North West Education Centre. She is passionate about creativity.

Currently Jan is undertaking a project in which she is documenting and painting all the Churches in The East Riding of Yorkshire from Early English / Norman to Victorian Gothic Revival. All the originals are painted on hardwood board and are available as Fine Art Prints, framed or unframed, perfect as a wedding or Christening gift.

Jan also paints local scenes and landmarks and is available for original commissions including portraits.
